 Hi From America
Hi everyone my name is josh Im from the usa and i have been testing out many different system to base my site on. This will be my next go at it. This time Im going to use icy phoenix but frist on a test site. So since Im new here I will tell you my project and you can tell me what mods to add. The site will be a tech and media site with a community (of course) we will also be doing tech and media news and reviews. I want it to be a social site as well. The one thing I did not like about phpbb was there text editor and was one thing I could not stand about it. Dont mind me asking but how the are you supposed to have a site where the core idea is talking about things and you dont have a text editor? Thats like selling a fishing rod with out the string. Which I guess you would have to use it like a spear or something and hope you dont break the rod or like in America a steak with no A1 sauces :cry:...is that steak dry or bone dry?

Welcome Josh!
I don't know what do you mean by "text editor", but if you are meaning a WYSIWYG text editor, then neither Icy Phoenix has it.
The reason why I didn't integrate such a feature is that because it is full of JavaScript and it is using some non standards way to show values. Such kind of integration should be done almost flawless and that require an high amount of time.
Anyway Icy Phoenix uses some buttons and select boxes to help in the process of creating text fields, but it doesn't show you a real time preview... you need to click at the proper button for that.
Regarding mods you may need, that really depends on you and your community...
