Hi All

When i insert an image using the upload image button on the right hand side below the smiley creator, a new window opens and allows me to select the image, bbcode is generated, once i hit insert bbcode button it inserted into the post this works great .

When i try to do it using the icon next to th eemail link button above , the upload image and add to message button, this opens the upload.php file into the same window, at the post a new topic and not a new window like up above. the result is when i get to teh insert bbcode button, nothing happens.

How can i correct this ?

maybe reupload bbcode.php and all related files

version is 1.3.0.53 is the version

I think this has something to do with the ID of the opened window (both buttons using the same ID) but since I'm no Icy expert I could be wrong and I'm also not able to find this quickly

nope, i don´t think so.

I got no problems on my sites with this, so it´s probably something with the bbcode files.

i would reup all bbcode related files and js

Hi Spydie, maybe I understand the question wrong I'm not sure...

I think AndyGpy wants to loose/change the default behaviour of the two ways of posting images opening in the same window

maybe AndyGpy can explain what he means some more?

like i understand this is,

that the up image button does´nt insert the bbcode in the text area, which it normaly should do.

so it´s probably an bbcode error, or he´s got bbcode disabled ( maybe check if you got bbcode disabled Andy)

You are correct in your understanding of my problem. It is the same as yours, and yes i do have bbcode enabled. I will try uploading bbcode files again over weekend when i am back home
