Post BUG - Deleted News Topics 
 
Deleted news still shows up in the index even after the cache has been cleared -  And it only disappears when one clears the recycle bin. ?

Well, it is not exactly a bug... at least in the sense I have intended it to work.

Recycle Bin it is still a forum, and it is quite obvious that a News remains visible on index for that reason.

Users with no permissions to read Recycle Bin won't see that anyway.

Do you think it would be more logic to remove the NEWS flag when a topic is moved to Recycle Bin?

From my new Windows RT tablet Funny how one forgets about the permissions - so there's probably no reason to change it.

Other than the fact it could be quite annoying for the want of a flag..
