Post My Website Is Too Much Slowly

Hello!
My website is too much slowly, all the days, all the hours, all the time!! Sometimes I can´t enter, I can´t write...
For example now:

Versión reducida del foro - (Lo-Fi)
Página Generada en: 48.377s (PHP: 2% SQL: 98%)
Consultas SQL: 22 - Debug On - GZIP Activado

I have done a lot of things and nothing!

My site: tecno - mania .com

Then you deserve what you get!    Just Kidding!

Doesn't mac have a command line that can you swap to and just run tracert to your site? Surely it must have some internet functions to test things like this?

Else beg, borrow or steal a Windows box and run it from there.

Ehm... Why are you trying to trace the route to the server? Look:

carlos wrote: [View Post]
Página Generada en: 48.377s (PHP: 2% SQL: 98%)

For some reason the MySQL service is taking about 48 seconds to process the 22 queries needed to generate the page. I think It's clearly a server fault.

I see your point Hal, But I keep getting these sort of readings with a clean browser cache:

Index:

Página Generada en: 5.684s (PHP: 29% SQL: 71%)
Consultas SQL: 26 - Debug On - GZIP Activado

Página Generada en: 4.9798s (PHP: 12% SQL: 88%)
Consultas SQL: 22 - Debug On - GZIP Activado

Forum:

Página Generada en: 1.2845s (PHP: 61% SQL: 39%)
Consultas SQL: 9 - Debug On - GZIP Activado

Edit: I don't know if it's changed since the old days, but the speed was determined by the connection negotiation between the two modems. If it comes in slow - it goes out slow, so it doesn't necessarily have to be the server.

Consultas SQL: 31 - Debug On - GZIP Activado - Extra Debug On

Post Re: My Website Is Too Much Slowly

carlos, I already told you what the problem is: DEF_TREE!!!

You have to reactivate it if you want to speed up your site.

It is the third time that I'm telling you this, but maybe you don't have any clue...

If enabling it again will return blank pages it is because you have something corrupted in your DB.

You need to make tests to fully understand what is wrong.

It can be either forum tables (as I already said try to do some DB maintenance in ACP) or auth tables. If the auth table is damaged the only solution is to empty that and reassign all permissions.

I can't know what the exact problem is, but I'm almost sure that it is one of these.

You can also try to remove all forum descriptions and make sure you have clean forum names (no quotes, no html, no special chars).

Remeber to full backup your db before doing any operation on it.

I honestly don't understand this when I've connected to your site many times - it's always quick to load, and here is the last result with an empty browser cache.

You could also try clearing your browser cache to give a better indication of the time it really takes to load.

Versión reducida del foro - (Lo-Fi)
Página Generada en: 3.387s (PHP: 22% SQL: 78%)
Consultas SQL: 25 - Debug On - GZIP Activado

Carlos... I have explained you 3 times...

Try to read again in the Docs section.

Or Google "how to comment and decomment code in php".

Hint: functions_categories_hiearchy.php

In my website, I just tried the method of combining and compressing javascript and css files. I think this can be worked out to make my website faster in terms of page reloading. I will just have to recommend this to my friends too.

We are trying to optimize these things in latest version as well. Anyway JS and CSS size usually only affects much first page loading.
