Post SOLVED - Can't Install Icy Phoenix On Localhost

I am trying to Install ICY PHOENIX the last version but I cant do it, it says

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, admin@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

And in the ERROR LOG says

[Tue Sep 02 19:36:53 2008] [alert] [client 127.0.0.1] c:/program files/easyphp1-8/www/ip/.htaccess: Invalid command 'RewriteEngine', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration

So I cant install and I remember before the new ICY PHOENIX which came August 22 2008 I mean the last version was normal ayway I hope someone can help me
I am trying to do it over my own pc first
thanks

Delete the .htaccess file in the forum root, as it's not meant for what you are using it for.

And in future please denote in the title "Local Host" - and using ALL CAPS in the title is frowned upon here.

No ,you don't delete the .htaccess file when you upload to a web-server. It's only non-functional with 127.0.0.1.

And ignore the missing folder as it has no effect on the install; or simply create the folder and put it in the path indicated in the message.

I didn't think you were being a little weird, just take some time to explore and get used to the place.

Re Templates:

If you haven't already done so - Check out the downloads link in the Main Menu, or follow the link in my Signature.
