In this topic you will find an almost complete Changelog for phpBB XS Build 058 (since Build 049):

1. Added: Unread Post Information 2 Database (UPI2DB) MOD
   • Saves information about unread post in the database, so they remain unread even after logoff
     
   • Allowes marking posts unread again
     
   • Highlights unread and marked posts
     
   • Allowes to mark a post unread again after it was edited
     
   • Announcements and Global Announcements can't be marked read by clicking "Mark all Forums read", they have to be read
     
   • Can be activated or deactivated for the entire board - if deactivated, phpBB's Cookie system handles unread posts as it did before
     
   • Can be configured to allow activation on a per user basis, so every user can choose whether he/she wants to use it or not
2. Added: Dropdown menu in header for New, Unread, Marked and Permanent Read posts
   
3. Added: Country Flags
   
4. Added: Topic viewcount isn't increased if the author views his own topic
   
5. Added: ACP option to disable forum postcount on a per forum basis
   
6. Added: ACP option to disable Lightbox JS if forum thumbnails are enabled

If you want to keep your old 049 release clean... Here is a list of all the files that were in Build 049 and have been removed in Build 058:



If you are upgrading from a version which is prior to Build 058 I strongly recommend to remove error.php (do not confuse it with ERRORS.PHP which is a new file and it is needed), which could be exposed to a security issue.

Shouldn't be deleted too the file /images/icon_clip_old.png ?

This file shouldn't be in XS 049... in any case, you can delete it if you wish.

Yes... delete and then upload only the files in the package for that folder.

Anyway, if you are not having problems with webspace I wouldn't worry about unused images... what is important is that you are removing unused PHP files.
