that is not bad but not enough detail as to the member locations and vistors. I think it would be nice maybe to have 2 maps one with members and another with vistors showing IP addresses and names. This way members can locate other members near to them. And I can not aford the expenses of that.

There is a MOD for phpBB2 called Phoogle Maps. It allows your members to pinpoint their location on a map everyone can view. They pinpoint their location via profile. It features their username, avatar, and smiley. I used this for a while, but got tired of it being buggy on my Icy Phoenix board.

You may be able to Google it and find a copy because phpBB.com is down right now.

This MOD might be a possibility for you:

Track Visitors To Your Website Using Google Maps

I don't believe it has the features you are talking about, but it is pretty cool. Perhaps this could be used to track your visitors and the Phoogle Map could be used to track your members.

- I'm going to move this to English Chit-Chat.

another possibility might be to integrate the map function of FF.

FF has a MOD that works more or less the way you want.

i think it has something to do with Yahoo-maps
