Hey guys,
I'm working on my personal website:

Can you please have a quick look and let me know if you like it?

Do you have any suggestion on what I can add and how I can improve it?

Brilliant looking site a man of many talents...

very simple and effective colours go well together and the social network links and message box sit nicely at the top of the page... though I notice when hovering over google + a pop up appears explaining what it does though not for twitter and facebook.

Firstly the image slider you have used where is that available...?

secondly I am assuming you are using IP gallery but have recoded the design much more professional looking than our present gallery (my opinion) so will that become the standard here..? or have you coded a completely new gallery?

Links on the left are too much (my opinion) though the drop down on the gallery page works really well, but can you not place at the top of the page to aid a user when they are searching...

About me page... I have dyslexia so when there is a lot of writing on a page I will not read it so maybe use more paragraphs, though not everyone has dyslexia so just an observation.

First time I saw this page the dropdown was at the top, so you may blame me for the fact that it has been moved to the bottom :oops:
I thought it would align the 2 headers more nicely and since there are links at the left already I didn't think it would matter much being at the bottom.

I didn't code those behaviours... they are just defaults copied from respective websites.

Nope... I have coded a very simple gallery just for my personal use. It is based upon Instant Gallery with some tweaks I have coded some time ago.

I know that there are so many links on the left, but they are there for SEO purpose... and to simplify life to people just looking for pictures. Since there are very few content at the moment, I prefer to keep link in that way.

I also noticed NIVO was added to icy in some format but have not seen where or how its is being used...

I think you should get a overviewer over all categories you have. Not only the first on "Abstracts"
Maybe only simle like "Flickr Photostream"

He he he... I have integrated it because I needed for a customized work on a website. Since it is a nice addon, I have added a switch for it... it is disabled by default, but it is very easy to enable and use in case you need it.

Have you ever tried to put a folder with images within: files/album/otf/?
It's integrated in Icy Phoenix since Icy Phoenix 1.0! :P

I have added a picture in "About Me" section... at the moment I'm not planning to add it to header, but thanks for the suggestion.
