Post subject: FAP SUPPORT - Browser For FAP: Only IE?
I know maybe I'm overposting :roll: and I excuse me....
Using FAP i'm testing too so I've questions and problems.....
this one : some users said me (and i've seen it's so) using not defaulòt browser (IE) they cannot send image to FAP.
Can we resove it?

i am using firefox and Internet Explorer, no problem uploading pictures
are u referring to a specific browser since i nor any of my users had that problem ;)

I have sure problem with opera and firefox (users and test). I don't know with others

hmm, i am using firefox, no problem there, could you please be a bit more specific as to what the problem is and describe it a bit more what you are doing when the error occurs?
maybe have a link and testaccount?

oops....lefty now I have a doubt: my forum and fap are integrated into mkportal. If you have not problems, the portal could be the reason of it ....

A user in my site said me he posted images using another browser (firefox) days ago, before upgrading FAP from 1.4.0 to 1.4.1. version....I don't know if there is a link, I post this question here...

you are right, i could upload with IE but not with FF, getting a Bad Upload Error.
I honestly do not know why this is. I still have 1.4.0 on my board and it works fine there :S
once i have found the time to upgrade i will have another look, maybe someone else has an idea in the meantime?

but we may not be able to give you the support you seek if you don't keep FAP up to date.

Solved Artie.
It was only for luck!
I've installed a new MOD (cracker tracker), so I've modified some file.
After, FAP worked with others browser (i've tried Firefox and Opera).
After I've uninstalled cracker tracker and FAP worked only with IE.
So I've tried ALL cracker tracker modified files and a tpl file (overall_header.tpl) had not all string correct (there wasn't </table></td>
</tr>
</table>
).
Maybe installing FAP 1.4.1. editing program delete the strings.
To a correct editing tpl files, there is a good free software (hapedit), that I council to all.
