Hello all. New to this forum, but not to phpbb.

Forum/Gallery is at http://troop445.org/members/forum. You will need a user "test" and password "123456" to access the forum/gallery. This .htaccess password is required by our Scouting organization (even though it is rather weak). Currently the forum/gallery will not open - we will get to that. I cannot currently set up a test account on the forum&gallery because I can't get in.

I just downloaded and installed the current version of FAP. I followed the directions as precisely as I could...

When told to "Change "Path to cgi-in" in Admin CP to a relative path from phpBB root to your cgi-bin, I was given the followin error when I accessed the Admin control panel:

Warning: main(../ALBUM_MOD_PATHalbum_hierarchy_debug.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/philmont/public_html/troop445.org/members/forum/admin/admin_album_config_extended.php on line 66

So... I did not change the path. I figured I could do that once the SQL tables were added and the file modifications were done. So I continued on. I uploaded the fap_install.php file to the /forum directory, logged onto the forum as Admin, and ran the fap_install.php file from another brower window. The SQL update seemed to take as no error messages were given (and I verified the tables via myPHPadmin).

I backed up and modified the needed files, and uploaded the modified files into their proper places.

Everything worked! I logged back into the forum as Admin, went to the Admin control panel, and accessed the Album control panel. The first "tab" was updated and submitted with no problem. When I tried to submit the changes on the second tab I was given this error:

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not query config information

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1146 Table 'philmont_troopforum.CONFIG_TABLE' doesn't exist

SELECT * FROM CONFIG_TABLE

Line : 216
File : common.php

Now I cannot access the forum at all. Any attemp to access http://troop445.org/members/forum presents me with the same critial error message.

Can you please tell me what I need to add or change to my database via myphpadmin so that I can get the forum&gallery back up.

I apologize if I have left out any needed information, and will gladly add any as required.

Shane

I think you have deleted something you didn't have to in constants.php.

Try to restore your backup and modify that file again following FAP instructions.

Gorgon,

You are GOOD! You are MIGHTY! i replaced the includes/constants.php file with a re-done modified file, and it workes perfectly.

I cannot thank you enough for your wisdom and quick response.
