Just wondering if there are plans to update the Multiple Ranks MOD so that it will be compatible with phpBB3?

Yes, entirely realise that, hence the question.

The question is; "are there plans to make it compatable with phpBB3?"

Don't mind either way (well, would be great if it is going to be made compatable), but would just like to know for future planning for utilisation of this MOD. If no plans to update it, then are not going to put the time into using it on phpBB2, since will be upgrading to phpBB3 when it is available.

I think I'll have a try to convert it when final version of phpBB3 will be out.

Users functions have been rewritten so some changes are required to the code to make it compatible.

Try to bump this when final Olympus is out.

Is this the ranks mod that allows you to set different rank images for each style available on your forum? I have many styles for users to select from but when I find rank images that look good against a light background, they look terrible against a dark one and vicea versa. I created theme images for each of my styles but now I need a way to make each theme display the custom rank images.

Is that what your mod does?

No... Multiple Ranks allowed to add more than one rank per each user.

Regarding your ranks issue, I would suggest to create them in PNG or with a squared background so your ranks will look the same in all styles.

I just got through copying the files and making the database changes, when I suddenly realized that I was trying to do a phpbb2 mod on phpbb3. Not smart. Anyway, I too would love to see a version of multiple ranks for phpbb3. Let me know if anything happens in that department, please.

i changed some minor code fragments so a rank is not displayed twice - coz that is maily one little issue that this mod has still remaining - but else its working well
