Hi there, I was wondering if it's possible to get this effect when you enlarge your pictures in the FAP?

Click on the picture in the link to see the effect that I want.

Yes, you can get the script at http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox2/

Place the code to include the javascript and css files at the top of templates/YOUR TEMPLATES/album_showpage_body.tpl

For the active link:

Artie have you tested this?

i edited my file and added the lightbox part 1 in my album_showpage.tpl but its not working... i get a error 404 O_o

Yes, I've been using it for some time on a standard phpBB board. It was a long time ago, but I don't think I did anything special to get it to work. I'll check when I get a chance.

You may have to adjust the included script paths (Part 1) to point to your lightbox directory.

I haven't tried it on Icy Phoenix .... I'm sure it should work, but you will have to change the U_PIC_L1 path (Part 2) for sure.

Hmmm... Nothing comes up when I click the image.
It's just keeps thinking forever and ever.

Any idea what could have gone wrong?

Ok, I think I know what the problem is... I can't seem to find my uploaded pictures. I can't load a single picture in the browser. It's very wierd and I don't know why.

What I mean by this is that I can't link directly to a picture.

There are the folder: images, css, js
where do I have to copy them?

I have add in album_showpage_body.tpl these three lines:

<script type="text/javascript" src="js/scriptaculous.js?load=effects"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/lightbox.js"></script>

But don't fuction!

I guess it is not enough for that lightbox to work.

You should then insert it in thumbnails IMG tags something I guess.

Create a folder called lightbox in you phpbb_root.

Add these lines to the template file

<script type="text/javascript" src="lightbox/js/scriptaculous.js?load=effects"></script>

<script type="text/javascript" src="lightbox/js/lightbox.js"></script>

<link rel="stylesheet" href="lightbox/css/lightbox.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />

and edit album_showpage.php as mentioned above.

I got these modifications working on my forum album. What if I wanted to choose "View full pic as a popup". What would I have to modify to make the link for the popup point to the lighbox feature instead?

I guess it would be enough to add the include for the .js and .css files to the overall_header.tpl

and you would probably have to make the change below to several album php files. (album.php, album_cat.php, and others)
