Post subject: FAP SUPPORT - BBCODE Buttons
Hi,

I have setup FAP 1.4.1 and it says it includes
## Album Image BBCode
## =======================================
## Five BBCodes added:
## [fullalbumimg]Picture ID[/fullalbumimg] (Mid Thumb Image)
##
## [albumimgl]Picture ID[/albumimgl] (Left Alignment)
## [albumimgr]Picture ID[/albumimgr] (Right Alignment)
## [albumimgc]Picture ID[/albumimgc] (Center Alignment)
## The user is required to insert only the Picture ID and a thumbnail is attached in the post.

But I dont see any bbcode button (like its on icyphoenix) while posting.
How do I get these bbcode buttons ?

That just explains how you post an image from the Albums.

Hi, nims.
Which phpBB system do you use? Could you attach here (or send via PM) your posting_body.tpl?

Any help ???

I need album bbcodes to appear when someone is posting in the forum so that users can just add their album thumbnail link in their posts. Pls help.

To add buttons to your posting, if you have standard phpBB, just download any other BBCode MOD which adds a button and follow the instructions by replacing that BBCode with FAP BBCodes.

Unfortunately there is no easy way to add BBCodes to posting, because original code of phpBB posting_body was awful.

Ok got the idea, will try to accomplish.
But just out of curiosity, I wanted to know if there is any code you (or someone else) might have developed that uses Javascript (maybe) to show a popup window with tiny thumbnails of users personal album pictures, when a button is pressed while posting in the forum. This could be used by the user to select the picture and automatically bbcode is added in the post at cursor position.

No, there is no mod like this, AFAIK.

I quote this as well... and it is not suitable for big galleries.

You have something similar in Icy Phoenix, which is the POSTED IMAGES feature: each user has in this page all the pictures he posted using the upload feature with a link to the BBCode to use to post them in messages.
