I have a serious prroblem with my mid thumbnail: all the pictures stop loading at one third (aprox.). This only happens the first time, if I load the pics a second time, it works.

What shall I do?

It should be a memory limit problem... try either to increase your memory limits in ACP or via PHP.INI if you can.

You may even try to reduce the size of the mid thumbs.

It's the same problem for me

FAP Limit is set to maximum 16MB and mid thumbs are now set 300px to 300 px

But I still have the same problem

Did you try to activate the OLD TUMBS GENERATION option in ACP?

I have tried Icy Phoenix.
I am overwhelmed of this board!
Great work, I`ve never seen a board like this.
The album ist functioning too.

Hm...

But what do we have for a problem with the album?
I use Categories Hierarchy 2.1.6c.
My users are very good worked in in the bord now, and I don`t want to change the system now.

I have this issue when enabling the lightbox option, onmouseover the mid thumbs that generate only load a 1/3 of the way until i mouseover a second or third time.

yes, i have disabled it too, because of this. i tried turning thumbnail cache off & clearing the thumbnail cache, but still no luck.

i am for some reason unable to view mid thumbnails now, i can only get a 1/3 of the image to load on my board, running phpbb 2.0.22

can someone assist?

I wonder if including the pic's width and height in the img tag would force it to fully load.

Just thinking out loud :10k_0015:

For all: What is your thumbnail quality set to. Mine was set at 75 and I've not had the problems you mention, but when I set it to 100 the problems appeared.

I also got the idea that adding a Content-length header to the script might help, but I didn't have much luck ....which doesn't surprise me as I didn't really know what in the hell I was doing anyway

krisbfunk [ Mon 29 Jan, 2007 23:52 ]
Post subject: Re: Problem Wih Mid Thumbnail
set to 100, as i don't want any image degradation at all

just noticed it seems to be the same problem posted about here: Several Issues with FAP

Not for the moment I do not think.
If you need a temporary fix you can lower the thumbnail quality to about 75-80%.

My problem with the mid thumbnail is that it just shows a block box. It doesn't seem to matter what image quality I set. Will your file work for this problem too?

Did you clear your thumbnail cache from the ACP and clear your browser's cache ?

If this doesn't help, then please start a new topic with a list if your thumbnail settings or a screenshot of them.
