So it's an update to a MOD that is available from www.icyphoenix.it - That MG has re-coded the original MOD and added to SVN?

You're right.
So, if you have installed the JC's one you can apply this little update, if you use the SVN package you don't need to change anything or, if you want, you can adapt it to suit your needs.
