I'm sure there are lot's of users who want this but i must say that there will be NO SUPPORT for this mod on icyphoenix.com. So install it and play with it on your own ;).

Package includes also Aphrodite templates and Italian language pack.
As Zuker said, no support for this pack, since it is not part of standard Icy Phoenix package.

Yes, it is the Activity Mod Plus 1.10 that I've adapted for Icy Phoenix.

I have it running @ http://www.mightygorgon.com/ if someone would like to test it.

HINT:

You must be login to test it and this is the direct Link to "activity".

Thanks andrea75, I'm reviewing the package togheter with fracs.

We will try to fix as many broken things as possible, but it is coded awfully and requires a lot of memory to work properly... that's why I'm not supporting it.

With the help of fracs I've almost reviewed all the activity... We still need to fix a couple of minor issues, but in few days you'll have a brand new activity package which should work better of the old one.

You can test the latest improvements @ my personal site (a registered account is required).

If we install the current activity_mod will we be able to upgrade to the new modified one easy enough or should I just wait?

Both are different mods and coded by different people

The one used here for Icy Phoenix is the Activity Mod Plus 1.1.0 coded by aUsTiN, while the one you are talking about is phpBB Activity, Arcade Mod 2.2.0 (or what ever version you are using) coded by Napoleon and dEfEndEr.

Which one is better and more stable? Or are they about equal?

Is there one over the other that supports games and hi scores more accurately?

Their about equal, but Activity Mod Plus latest development was August 20, 2004 (aka discontinued), while the phpBB Activity, Arcade Mod is still in development (beta), but is not getting enough donations, so the developer and the staff aren't releasing 2.2.0 yet. There is still bugs in phpBB Activity, Arcade Mod 2.1.8 that are known, but solved in 2.2.0, so you should use Activity Mod Plus now.

Both support IPB, PHP-Nuke, V3, and other flash games are supported, but there are more features in Activity Mod Plus (List Here), so you should use that one, and also because it might be more stable too.

A little update regarding Activity for Icy Phoenix.

Currently I had to modify some Icy Phoenix core files, so I have changed the Activity as well to reflect these changes.

With the help of fracs, I have fixed some Activity bugs as well... but for the next release you should wait that I have the time to test the whole thing.

So we should wait to install the activity mod until you are done with this latest version MG? Or if we install the current one will it be a pain to add or remove changes?

So i've tested the Activitiy Plus 1.10 Mod for IP but any games that i have dosn't work.
In Arcade 2.1.8 Mod the games are work.

I have install two different IP for testing one with Activitiy Plus 1.10 Mod and one with Arcade 2.1.8 Mod

Since Activity is an addon, I won't add those tables in default package.

But we may add instructions on how to add those tables into that file.
