This mod is a complete Medal system for your Icy Phoenix.

ACP medal management panel
Medal Listing page to display all medal information
Medal moderator management panel for adding/removing medal from users
An e-mail is sent to user receiving the medal
Display amount of medal a user holds on viewtopic and profile page

Oo wow KuKa, really nice one.
I have to aplologize for l8ter reply - first put much pressure and now too late

Ok well i am not at home and so i cant install this mod to my page. But the next weekend will do this to me. I am sure my members are waiting for this...

I now will thank you again for your work - from what i have seen until now its a really great mod.

Create new categorys and medals in ACP -> Medals -> Manage.

Edit medals to add Medal Moderator.

Go to to Icy -> Medals (medals.php) -> Click to Medal control panel

And add username to add Medal and awarded Reason, click to Submit

I have a quick question that deals with the location of the medal location on viewtopic. Is it possible to move the medal row under the avatar somewhere under a user's signature line? I've tried moving it down there, but the whole viewtopic page looks crazy.

What code could I use to make a new line above the PM, EMAIL, ICQ, MSN, AOL, ALBUM...etc.? I'd like the new line to be black like the line that holds the PM, EMAIL,....etc. buttons.

I've installed the MOD on the Icy newest version and doesn't work

I like the medals! I want the medals! Why aren't they on the basic package?

I use this modification on my community website and it works perfectly. I also use the latest patched version of IP. I installed this modification back when patch A was released, but never installed this modification on a fresh install of IP.

You need to re-check exactly what you have done - Just because it mentions functions.php in the error does not mean that it actually has to be there - It's more than likely "Echoing" the problem that is created somewhere else.

Yep, I'd make it if the MOD worked well, but it seems the MOD doesn't work well on clean installations since the "27b". Now, I'm awaiting the re-chek of the MOD itself

Well I don't know who you have re-checking it, but the mod works fine with an install on a "Clean" IP 27c version.

I don't know how many times I've installed this MOD, or the other people who have downloaded it and installed it. When you start having problems, then you need to be more careful in following the instructions.

Have you tested it? I've only re-checked a couple of files, the rest are things that I've read over there. Thanks anyway, I'll try to re-install it tomorrow

It worked fine, I had only two issues:

That appeared when I tried to give a medal to myself (me as moderator).

And I have no idea about why the details button doesn't work. When I click on it, the navigator shows a page error on the bottom bar (something similar to when a page contains some errors).

Have you done something special or just following the instructions? Thank you very much anyway, if it's all right I'll try to do it by myself another time, maybe I did something on a wrong way.

Why?

Because you haven't followed the installation instructions correctly and have "broken" into some other script. Just like some other people have done.

Replace the files with the ones you did back up, and try again.

Then as a moderator you set a bad example by using the quote button and not the reply button to answer the post immediately above the last one.

I've also re-written this MOD with some extra script for the next version of Icy Phoenix. It will come in English only, because some of the $lang strings have been changed.

Recently, i had a problem with my site turns blank and i managed to fix that. Anyway, i had this mod work before and run fine. I have checked all my changes and uploaded all files, but some how i can't save medal display in viewtopic. When went to medal setting in ACE and checked yes display in viewtopic, then hit submit. there is no error message, but i go back to settings it switch back to "No" display in viewtopic.

Can I get some helps, please?

Hi all!! I have installed the mod without any problem, but when i go to /medals.php there isn't buttons for give a give a medal to a user.

Here an image of my problem:

Reading all the documents included in the package I find in this file UsageGuide_en.txt that I have to change this line:

for this line:

But both lines are not.

Please ignore the changes you read in UsageGuide_en.txt and copy and paste the Spanish languge to /language/lang_spanish/lang_main.php and copy the Spanish admin language to /language/lang_spanish/lang_admin.php

If you still have problems - Then please re-read the instructions and check what you have or haven't done.

And if that doesn't work - Yell out some more.
