A quick update

I will be releasing a patch to fix some file edits that were wrong later today or tomorrow...

If any one sees an error let me know and I can compare it to what I have

This is the patch for the mps mod... just copy the files over.... I have gone through the files to check for errors tested links etc...

Hopefully this will solve any issues... if you do see an error please report so I can fix it asap..

For fresh install I have updated the download no need to apply the patch...

did you check you junk mail folder as sometimes it goes there... I will check the registration... if there is a problem I will activate your account... and let you know..

I just tested the registrations and everything is working fine... can you pm me your email address you signed up with so I can check the one I have...

weblog... is for the weblog mod that was not added... to remove it got ACP MPS custom layouts and remove it from showing in your profile...

I have a problem
I installed icy phoenix (new install) and afterwards MPS
They show all they work well apart from the most important.
It cannot become registration of new users.


In the registration page I don’t see “About Me: * “ file


as it shows in your demo site for MPS
With result when I supplement that fields exist and submit for registration it shows me this message of error

"General Error
You did not fill out all the required fields for the Personal Profile.
Please go back and fill out the fields."



(from ACM can become registration of new user. Ι did try)


what can I do for this problem???


I can give you my ulr and pass for admin for each control it

have you done the code edits in templates/default/profile_register_body.tpl

and added

2o issue now (since you are so good), or more properly a proposal for MPS mode

The fields of the MPS which are required , not to be empty when the user is going to start an MPS profile. I think that a default text will be usefull if the user is in a "hurry" to create a MPS profile.
For expl
Page Title: my {user name}
Headline: {user name} Space
About Me: Tell you later

And a 3 proposal
Admins is usefull to can see the additional information in the profile of the user (IP and email address information, Board Usage Statistics, Quick Administrator User Options and Info, Other users registering from Not recorded, IP addresses this user has posted from, Logins ) as they can see in Icy phoenix profile or at least in an other page.

All the above, of course, by group permissions (mod or junior admin) to be able to see these informations, special with the option of the email and IP information (Yes or No for these fields).

If it is not convenient to their own profile page then in a new or 2on profile page

sorry it is really hard to diagnose a problem without any information....

i had a look at that script. look´s good to me , could´nt find any error

i have just been to the mps demo site and changed all the values .. i received no error..

everything ran as it should...

ok this error is totally un related to the one you posted before...

there is a small error in the file i have fixed and please find it attached and upload to your adm folder...

That´s because that file is missing in the script.

I´ve been reviewing the hole script, can´t see it

icy phoenix does not have a weblog mod anywhere and mps does not come with one...

you need to go back into your acp mps configuration and turn of the weblog addon that your turned on...

then your errors will dissappear... if you had said you turned weblog on it would have saved a lot of problems

I will remove the function on the next mps update to stop this confusion..

I still like your mod but the more I think about how use it usefully with my site, the more I think I don't need " all " the options ><' In fact, I would like to know if it were possible to create a " Users' Group " mod from MPS ?
I explain : in my case, the most useful thing of MPS is the group system by categories etc ... ( easy to use, useful, set by categories, ... ). I would like to know if it were possible to only add this function to a site from your MPS code and if it is easy or not, by this I mean easily separable from the whole MPS code and adapting to IP ?
