I know how to add the New Posts option in the main menu bar but can someone tell me how to add the count as used on this site? New (xx)

You need an extra SQL which computes the unread messages.
I don't know if such a modification already exists for phpBB 3, otherwise it has to be coded.
This site is based on phpBB 2.
