Icy Phoenix

Hi,
i hope is the right Forum

i've Trouble with Icy Phoenix Customizations and IE7.

IIf i call a new unread Topic the Solution in IE7 (Width) is to large, i've always to scroll left-right.
There's no to large Image etc...



After reload (like F5) the Width is right:



The Main-Page have always the correct Width.
The Trouble isn't with the Standard-Styles like Prosilver and Subsilver2
What can I do?

its strange,because i dont get this problem with IE

try this : log in like noramal member (not like administrator ) and see if this problem is there , log in with Test-ACC

if no , i will need to see it like admin ( but that is your wish if you want )

i will log out and wait your answer

i will need a little time to try resolve this (i need to install this style on my server to see how to do it ) so be patient please

btw this style is blue_pearl or smoke_pearl (where did you downloated) ? i need same exact style

this problem come only with german lang..

can you please your profile put on english lang and confirm me this (i mean try to see if is same when you swich to english)

This problem has already been discussed here if you want to search for it and the remedy.

When Bump topic (Langauge String) appears it forces the table too wide - The real problem is the German Laguage has words that are too long for the table when all of them are used.

Anyway - the fix is there somewhere and "Beer" was used in the thread so you may want to search for that.

u need to find all long words specialy that one "Erster ungelesener Beitrag"


so for example find this line


and made shorter
like this



so dont change anything exept 'Erster ungelesener Beitrag', what is writed with red so your word must be betwen ' '

and dont chage 'VIEW_UNREAD_POST' =>

if problem continue try made also some other word shorter example 'Thema weiterempfehlen'

oh sorry i copyed wrong .php yes viewtopic.php

I changed in language/de viewforum.phph following words:

from: "Thema weiterempfehlen" to "Weiterempfehlen"
from " Erster ungelesener Beitrag" to " 1. neuer Beitrag"

I've disabled "Subscribe topic" in the ACP
