Hi!

I used Black Pearl style on my page, everything work, but I can't see "new topic", "post reply" etc. buttons! That images is not missing, but it's not appear! My suggestion ist the bug in code. I can fix it, but I don't know which template respond to this? I using the polish phpBB3 and polish forum, in ADM everything is done, images are visible and I have no messages of any problems. Plz help me, my site is:

I searching this very long time, but I can't find where is this template. This is not problem with images, but with code, I remind.

No, it doesn't. This tutorial show how to fix missing images, but my images is not missing, there is just nothing, like in this demo:

PS: The buttons of "edit", online status, profile etc. are all visible, but "new topic"and "post reply" are not appear when I'm logged in or logged out.

Any suggestion? Before this i fix the bugs with register and login.

try this:

create styles/black_pearl/imageset/pl and copy the content from styles/black_pearl/imageset/en in the pl directory and clear the cache

I don't think his images are missing from the package, they just need to be placed in a proper directory due to the language difference. This is mentioned: http://www.phpbb.com/kb/article/how...-on-your-style/

I create a folder "pl" before and it still doesn't work. I place all images in this folder, I copy the .cfg file, I try to edit .cfg, I try everything! ;p In prosilver style everything aare visble and ready to use.


PS. the folder name is "PL" for sure, I check it.

when you change your language to english the buttons are present?

No, when I change the language of forum to "British english", buttons are not appear. I think this is bug with condition in template, when buttons are visible and when not.

I copy all images and templates from subsilver2 style to Black Pearl, just for try, and buttons are still not appear, so this is something wrong with .css files. Any suggestions?

I download all styles from this site, Icy Phoenix, and I can't see this buttons in any style.

Have you tried to clear both server and local cache?

It helps many times....

I try doing this, I clear the site, I place nwe installation of phpBB and Blacke Pearl with my modifications.
Without modifications no one buttons are appear.

I guess you mean you have modified icy template files?

I modifed the login template and menu block template to fix register and login function.

I have the same problem:

I copy the "imageset.cfg" form "en" to "pl" folder
I remove everything in this file and place there 2 lines:

"img_button_topic_new = button_topic_new.png

Are you sure no files at the server are not corrupt?

Have you tried different browsers?

Have you granted permissions to the categories which have got the forums, even if no post can be posted outside the forum sections?

I mean:

|-Category (phpbb3 does not allow posts here)
|-------------------Post/Reply = Yes
|===-Forum (Section inside category where you can post)
|-------------------Post/Reply = Yes

Otherway, if:

|-Category (phpbb3 does not allow posts here)
|-------------------Post/Reply = NO
|===-Forum (Section inside category where you can post)
|-------------------Post/Reply = Yes

It will not work. You can check it out at the ACP. It is a tricky one, the one which confused me for around a week when first testing phpbb3.

I have all permissions, in different style with polish support everything working, I clean the server many times, install other versions of phpBB3...

I have the same problem with other english styles, all icons besides "new topic" or "post reply" are visible.
I try different browsers, like Mozilla, Google Chrome and IE.

PS. In subsilver2 style all I must do it's the copy the "en" and rename to "pl", no refresh, no cleaning cache.

And your own local cache, your browser's one?

EDIT: Viewing your last edition, clear remote cache for ALL templates and local cache.

Which template responses to this buttons? Maybe I must edit it, like a menu_block template, similiar to this:

Template cache is site cache.

Have you tried different browsers/OS?

OK, I try to install ENGLISH version of phpBB3 from OFFICIAL site, maybe it work.

It appears to be some auth mask wrong out there....
