phpBB 3 MODS And Styles (Not Compatible With phpBB 3.1) - Calendar events mod

I have a phpbb forum at classicgoldwings.com and found this site looking for a calendar events MOD.

I may not stop by here very often but I hate so much zero posters I felt I should post something.

The calendar here doesn't seem to have capability for users to add their own events, unless I'm missing something.

Welcome to IcyPhoenix DanFilipi,

The calendar mod used at this site is baked into icyphoenix, it's not suitable for phpbb boards.
You'ld better do a search at phpbb.com's mod database.

I personally use an abandoned mod that does what you describe, still needs one or two fixes though.

Greetings,

Yes I'm using alightner's [ABD] MOD now but it needs some fixes.
Sure wish someone would finish it.

Is there anything out there comparable?

I must admit I don't plan to change what I m using now so I never searched for anything new, just do a search and you'll know soon enough what is out there.

The biggest problem I have left with it is that it won't let anyone post events to groups, a bug I probably caused myself while fixing other stuff.
If you read carefully through the aligtner thread it should work 100% or close to that

PS ..I had a peek at your site but could n't find a calendar link , navigating to it manually tells me it's there but beyond my permissions

I've searched and searched and the one I'm using seems to be pretty much it.
Surprises me with all the other MODS available that this one is the only really useful calendar with events out there.

Thanks for pointing out you couldn't see the calendar, I tweaked the guest permissions so you should see it now.
