Hi, I've a problem with the restore of my Phpbbxs forum/community. Some time ago, at once I found a blank screen instead of my board; I mean a complete-white screen, with no error or message! I thought I'd better check Aruba's Phpmyadmin for problems with the DB, but it was all there. So I did a backup, and I began to upload via FTP (linux server) a fresh board.
After a number of attemptings, I came to these conclusions:
a fresh board install goes well;
the restore (via Phpmyadmin or Big Dump – actually, I have to erase the old tables because of the missing of the DROP TABLE command in the backup file) seems to succeed;
the board looks like the old one (same theme, same users, same home page...), BUT the forum sections aren't ok: instead of my old sections I've got a “Test Forum” only! I checked the table in the DB and it is ok! It contains all the forums and its infos!

What can I try?

Go in ACP and ReSync your forums.

I think that your old problem was related to def_tree.php damaged... you could try just to replace that file with a new one and then ReSync your forums again...
