Post subject: IMG Tags And %20 Together Won't Work...

Everytime my users post an

tag and the link contains the code for a space (%20), the link just shows a text link "Image" than a code not using the %20 and the image is shown??

Example:

[img]http://events.clowningaround.com/images/Lookalike%20Photos/Steven%20Spielberg%20director%20producer%20look%20a%20like.jpg[/img]

steven-20spielberg-20director-20producer-20look-20a-20like

Is it supposed to do that??

%20 is a space on the internet

for all urls..

I undertand that, but that's not my question. Please read it again.

In simple terms..if any link has the "Space" code of %20 in it, the image does not show, but a text link does. If you DO NOT use that %20, then the picture displays as it should using the IMG tags. My example above proves that it does it here as well.

It seems that the thumbnail is blocked by ctracker...

The image doesn't show, so I tried to view it by copying and pasting its url into a new window:
http://www.phpbbxs.eu/image_thumbna...%20a%20like.jpg
and you get back a ctracker security alert

What could have changed in the coding from the previous release. It didn't do this before the 58 came out??

Yes... CTRACKER updated and POSTED_IMG_THUMBNAIL.PHP modified.

For security reasons images with may be ambiguous are blocked by CTRACKER or by POSTED_IMG_THUMBNAIL.PHP.

I can try to unlock this... but it's not a good thing doing it...

I may eventually add a switch for those users who wants IMG tag with no restrictions... but then you should enable this feature at your own risk.

Can i use the previous version of POSTED_IMG_THUMBNAIL.PHP without corrupting anything or is this an issue i have to deal with for now?
