Yes, I think that the problem is on your side... if I remember well, you used to have problems even with LIW, and all GD related functions...

If you try opening the mid_thumb, the image is opened correctly, so the image isn't corrupted:

I think you should ask your provider to fix GD problems definitely.

Now I haven't got any problem with GD or LIW... only the albun doesn't work..... now I'll try to disable GD.

but why your pictures are opening in new window?
and after refresh is showing picture location

I don't know! Nothing works in album..... all file seems to be ok...

Trust me... your host have limited in some way the getimagesize function... maybe it's a problem of memory limit.

Try to insert this at the beginning of your album_common.php

In OTF gallery there are only small pictures, that could be the reason...

andrea75, try to upload via FTP some big images into album_mod/uploads/otf/demo/ then try to launch album_otf.php.

Nothing change with this, and in OTF all works fine....

But I see a really strange thing... If I call images from post with [albumimg] tag all works fine

Album_shopage is ok... and watermark is off now

I'm sure after 58 upgrade... before all worked fine.

All album files (album*.php in root, the album_mod folder and all album*.tpl) are replaced with original, database optimized, and and all cache cleared. The permissions on folders are ok... mumble mumble... I can try to check all files interested by FAP. No other things I have on my mind.
Do you think that can be some errors in DB? In this case if someone give me all tables of FAP and all settings interested in phpbb_config I can try to solve them, even if I'm not sure that the problem is in the DB........

The med_thumbnail works if you refresh the page, but the full images doesn't work in any way. I make all test possible, but I don't resolve the problem.

It's a problem of your hosting... it's not an XS problem!

If you don't mind having the images shown with the full path, I'll suggest you a modification to fix your problem...

Or you can try with this file (disable watermark just to make sure not to charge your server of other work).

No, doesn't works... now I'll try to upload a clean version of XS in other folder, so I can understand if problem is in files or in hosting

Thanks Mighty, but the problem was in DB. I passed to XS1 from a MBMF version, where I installed an old version of FAP. In the DB had remained a table called "sp_config", that evidently disturbed something after installation of the 058 version. I have eliminated that table and all now works well.

Glad you solved... but you should post here that you have solved... so I can help someone else instead of trying to solve what has already been solved...

Well... I solved just yesterday... few minutes before your post

This is bizarre, I have a similar problem where only half a large image is appearing, mid thumbails loading fully when refreshing etc but I don't have a table called sp_config sadly. I think you must have done something else to get round this problem

That is not the problem... try the files I've attached a couple of posts ago.

My problem was different, and was in the DB. I had find an old table from an old version of FAP. I have solved the problem deleting this table.

I decided to change my album_pic.php and album_picm.php files which has worked but it now means I'm using something effectively out of date.. I wish I knew what change between 048 and 052 caused these conditions

New album files are using a new images class to manage pictures, so now it's possible to have thumbnails even of PNGs and GIFs. This class is requiring an higher level of memory, so if you are experiencing problems you should try to raise your memory limit to 8 or 12 MB.

Anyway, FAP 1.4.0 will be out soon, and I hope to have found a way to reduce the memory needed.
