Post subject: I Get A "35" When Entering Into The Portal

i think the other parts of the site are working well but with no reason apear a 35 into the index.php of the portal (now I got it named indexOLD.php )

the last thing I did was add a few ranks and 3 hours later when I get home I find this.

my site isn't working because I rename index.php in the root folder and then gave me the list of files but I can't get the portal

I think I have to report to Mulder and scully

a 35? maybe it's a signal from the aliens

OK, I'd changed the tpl to 2 columns and the the portal (at least) is shown but ...why I can't use the 3 Column tpl?
if I activate it again It give me that error whit the "35" as index page.

Try to disable all the blocks and then try to enable blocks one by one to determine which block is causing your problem. When you discover it, tell us which block is and we will try to help you.

I'll explain myself.

I can't do what you say because in my rage against the Murphy's law I have deleted ALL the blocks and add some of them again.
this confirm that the problem is about some of the blocks.
the portal is working now whit the blocks that you can see in my index page.

but the problem it's not solved, the 35 is chasing me. Now you can see the "35" index page on the album when you try to acces to album.php

now I can't "remove" the blocks from that page (I don't know how to it) and the problem do not disappear when I set the tpl to 2 columns instead of 3 columns.

As someone who used to be on freehostia, I am sorry to tell you that freehostia is not really good enough for IP. I couldn't even get it started there, and their server downtime usually destroys a few files each time, you will have to get a paid host eventually. Well done for getting it started on freehostia though.

I refuse to say "oh, the problem is about freehostia, I should have paid for the hosting" and I continue my research on the problem.

my forum is a fresh ICY RC3 (except from some imported post from a restrictive forum system) and the problem is about personal galeries.

none of my user of my users have a personal gallery before the day I said that I have added a few new ranks an the portal crashes. the problem was far from that issue. the problem start when one of my user post her first photo on the album.

-the portal crashes because try to show that photo
-after removing all the blocks and create them again the portal works because I set the album block not to show personal photos but the album.php still crashed.
-I solved this avoiding to show personal gallery photos on the album index (album.php) but the profile of the user that upload the photo show the "35" again.

now i have explained all about my problem I need your expertise to solve the problem and use the Album on my forum and not getting 35's around the forum.

Al this is really strange... it could be related to a cache problem as well.

I've downladed and tested the forum on local and I have no problem so I guess that the problem is about the nasty free hosting.
now the forum is in 110mb but the don't allow fopen() ans set_time_limit() and I get other problems but at least I know where the problem is about and the album is working.

I think I will go to a paid hosting as soon as I can afford it but until then I will migrate from free hosting to free hosting because is so easy to migrate to another site!

There are some good and cheap hosting... if you think your site will grow it is better to move to another hosting.
