Post subject: Integrated Newsfeeds

Hi,

I have no idea what i am diong with this, however, on a previous test i came across a mod that integrated rss feeds directly into a forum See Here and i thought this would be great to feed News onto the portal page and allow people to comment on the contents, i have attempted to integrate this mod into icy but i get no buttons in the acp for inserting the news. My site or in Spanish

Has anyone else tried this?

What do u want to do? i don't understand
Is it a mod do u want to install?...

For no acp "buttoms" maybe it's because on icy all the admin files must go inside adm folder

This is as far as i can get! There shoud be two buttons on the bottom that say "Get news now"

I installed this mod once on my XS.
I'll try to install it on icy and i'll tell u

You have to replace these files i attach inside adm folder.

And check that admin templates included in the mod are in templates/common/acp

Zuker,

I have installed the mod. Are there other things you HAVE to do to make it work, and get it in a block for the main page?

I added all the files. Does the folder find_input have to go in adm?

also,

What type does the URL need to be: ??

(.rss), or (.xml)

I have it installed, and added the sql table, and ready to finalize! (almost there)

there are 2 little changes to do.
There is no block for rss at the moment
