Post subject: I Got Problems With The ADmin Account And Seeing The ACP

i have problems loggin in. been working fine for 48 hrs,

so I forgot my password, mabe. so i clicked on "I forgot my password"

sent myself a email

with a link to reset the passwords.

but still can not log in as admin

deleted the cookies and temp internet files also any ideas?

just goes back to main screen like i forgot my password.

You cannot login, or you cannot as admin?

nope cant log in as admin, even reset my password eg (got the board to reset it and that still does not work)

think the problem mabe after the patches? seam to break the board!

is there any order i have to install them in!

???

after the updated to i have to set the files to 777 again?

Wait... You can login as a normal user or you can't at all?

yep normail user is fine , admin account cant log on two

i done this 5 six time just will not let me reset the password

can some one tell how to install these patches, do i just ftp them upto the board all at once?

think this is my problem, this has happen once before.

whats the url for the ACP panel any help would be great!

1. try to clear cache folder , optimize database

if nothing
2.go to sql > phpbb_users
see your ID

if nothing
3.run fresh install of phpbbxs [local or not]
go to sql copy your password and paste it to your current sql

ok were to start on god here we go.

1. di all this try to clear cache folder , optimize database did not work.

2.go to sql > phpbb_users see your ID

ok found my user name and password

to make sure that sql was storeing the right password

i check the password via a hash claculator it check out viald hash in mysql

even tried to make a new one and input into the mysql still did not work

you see this is not right i sure it the old phpbbs template that is doing this

i take it i can still use old phpbb templates ???, i sure this is why i been locked out the ACP

i also had problems with making new fourms in the ACP pannel before i got locked out

any help on this would be great . as realy want to use the template??
