I read the post in the "How To's" and all that actually changes is "phpbbXS" If I add more then one word it is ignored. I want to be able to add more then one word and also need to know where to look in order to change the images in the block too.

clear cache after
images you can change in templates/ca-aphrodite/blocks/welcome.tpl
images are in images folder

Thanks for the reply but my main concern is changing the wording of the welcome block not just the image.

For some odd reason the changes didn't take the first I applied them.
That's why I posted the second time.

I have changed my images and they are showing up. I have altered the text in the lang_welcome_block.php twice now, uploaded it to the server, cleared my cache and history and it still isn't showing the changes.

Like MrWizard the text changes just aren't seeming to take. How can I force it to take? and show up properly?

and now for some bizarre reason, it has updated itself.
