Post subject: "Access Denied" On PhpBB MySQLAdmin

Today I went to ACP and tried to use phpBB MySQLAdmin to look for a configuration in the database, but what I got was a "general error - access denied" (or what ever it says in English, because what I indeed saw was "acceso no autorizado" in Spanish). I wonder if the admin has no access, who has?

I had used phpBB MySQLAdmin before and it worked fine, I don't know when it started to fail, since I usually use the standalone application "MySQL Administrator" to connect to my database.

What can be the cause of this? May I have touched something without notice?

No, I still get the same error message about unauthorized access.

Your problem is on local server or hosting server?
In the second case, have you tried to ask your hoster's support?
That "MySQL ADministrator" is a stand-alone application that you've got on your PC?

The problem is in the actual site, on a hosting server.

It worked before, but not now. So I guess it can be because of some change I made. "MySQL ADministrator" is the official stand-alone application to manage remote and local MySQL databases.

The problem is not in the database, since I can access it from that application, from phpMyAdmin (from the hosting control panel) and IP can access it internally. The problem seems to be an authentification problem in IP.

Are you using the first a/c created?

No, my user was created as normal user and then marked as admin. But I've used PhpBB MySQLAdmin before with this same user.
