Post subject: Question: About "visits" Block Data Collection
As you guys probably read, my site crashed (caused by host), I rebuilt it, but one thing I'm curious about;

The visits block gets it's hit data from the server, or IP_config mysql?

I had almost 300,000 visits and when I rebuilt the board and got it restored, the hits are only at maybe 50,000.

I just wanted to track it from it's start point date, which it still will display, only with the 50k visits.

Thanks in advance.

That visits counter isn't accurate since it just record each page view (not unique visitors).

Anyway it is just a single db field into phpbb_config table.

Code: [Hide] [Select]
$board_config['visit_counter']
