Post subject: Blank Pages After Install
I uploaded
phpbbbXS_058a_full and i run the instalation script , but when I fill in the fields with the corect details and when I click submit it apears a BLANK page ! So what should I do ?
PS. 2 Offtopic questions
1. How can I do so in posting_body.tpl in the left side should appear how many smiles I want ( for example 8 in a row and 8 in a column) (in a original phpBB) ?
2. Where I can see a list of MOD's that is installed on phpBB XS ?

LE . Another OFFTOPIC question
How can I do so that the category or any bar to be formed within 3 images ( so if subSilver bar is formed with cellpic3.gif , I want to be on the left and on the right one image , for ex. cellpic3_left.gif and cellpic3_right.gif ) . How can I do that ? Exact Modifications please !

first do correct install, then we'll try to answer you to other questions
after click install you are connecting to database
it takes long time.wait
if it goes blank, maybe connection is too long or wrong and server execution time is out
in most it is 30sec.try to increase
do you create a database before install?
mods are in hacklist left hand navigation

No ... I had one database with SMF board but I've deleted the tables before installing phpBB XS ! So thats what I try to tell ou... I can't install it... After I click Install it goes blank without loading...

i didn't done anything to config.php... its exactly like in package !
My host is evonet.ro and the board is
www.testarea.evonet.ro

1º creat 1 Data Base
2º put the files xs058
( if not run install , please try remove everithing on file .htaccess )

I've CHMOD-ed 777 the config.php file and it still doesn't works !
I have a board and a MySQL database... What you don't udnerstand ... ?

LE : I renamed .htaacces file in a different name and it still gets blank when i Submit the Installation !

some files are cutted by size.it is not so hard to compare with original
includes/pager_header.php does not present
you did not rename install and contrib directories.I did.
You must replace all your root without config.php, install and contrib
compare sizes by original files
the reason maybe .ftpquota
database is nice and ready to work

Please, stop bumping your own posts.
Your problem is related to your hosting, and not to phpBB XS. Try to have a decent host and install this package again.
