Hi Guys

Have RC1 installed in a Dev site, i can upload images and view successfully.

Question i have is where in the .27 Version is the images stored from my old album and where do i place them in the new album.

I have tride copying the files folder but all i get is thumbnails

Any ideas please as all i can see is thumbnails of old images and new uploaded images are fine.

Here is how I fixed that.

I took all the pictures that were uploaded using the upload feature to /files/posted_images/. It's not necessary to put them in the user folders that the beta/RC now uses. From the moment you install the beta/RC, it'll start categorizing your images by users. Pretty cool organization.

I took all the pictures that were in my album and moved them to /files/album/...I think. I'm looking now and see a folder called /files/album/users/...one of those folders is where you can upload the photos to.

Back everything up and give that a try. It's a little tricky.

If you run this it will work like Chaotic wrote.

Make a backup befor and take a look into your database (phpmyadmin). There you can find the path.

i have a simliar problem...

because my forum is modified, and i have some more tables and entries as the standard icy, i do every db update from the db_update_000.sql file... to avoid problems with the update scripts... and also so i see, what is changed in my tables...

is there a way to fix the picture problem, with a standalone script... i tried with db_update and also tried to edit the file to get the album images fix... but it doesnt work...
