I am trying to set up the Contact Us Page or a Directory Page so that:

- when it opens, it will show the different departments which the user can select their option. This way the Admin does not get all the emails.
- When the user selects which department they want, a FORM opens
- The user enters their email address, subject, body and clicks on send
- The email is sent to the email listed for that specific department

It appears that all I need to do is modify or create a .tpl and form for each department. The .tpl is not a problem but the FORM is.

That will require an extra table in the DB to set the category and the desired email address for each category.

It is not tough, but will require some time to be coded.

MG this is nicely done.

I've set it up with the different email address and incorporated it in to my website. However, when I click submit, it is sending the email to the admin@jflkdjflkjj instead of going to the email address listed.

What did I forget to edit?

In going along with the theme that I am trying to create above, I have a question.

When you click on the "email" icon in someone's profile or when viewing a group, etc the email form comes up with the s/n of who the email is going to.

Can I use the URL of that form for that specific individual to link from for instance, the example., ie in the contact_us.png pictured above?
