Post subject: [Solved] Links & Anchors ?
Hello,

I'd like to know how is it possible to make, with Icy Phoenix, a link redirecting to an " anchor " in the same page ( and how to make this anchor too ).
In basic html, it is :
Code: [Hide] [Select]
Link = <a href="#your_anchor">...</a>
Anchor = <span id="#your_anchor">...</span>

But in IP it seems not possible, even when I go in ACP and that I enable HTML with " a " and " span " balises allowed. Is there another way to do such thing, with IP bbcodes, or else ? If not, why when I enable HTML it still not work ?

Thanks for your help.

*m*
I don't know what I shall have find but I did not. Anyway, from your link, I found this one which helped me a bit but still not working completely ...

In fact, my true problem is the following : I perfectly can create a link using :
Code: [Hide] [Select]
[url=#id]
[url href=#id]
<a href="#id#>

I also perfectly can create the anchor with :
Code: [Hide] [Select]
[span id=#]
<span id="#id">

BUT ! When I click on the link, it seems working ( because the #id appear at the end of the link ) BUT it doesn't redirect to the anchor =/ ( It does nothing else than showing the #id at the end of the web address ... ).

Dunno if I'm really clear ... >.<' That is as if I.P blocked anchor or something else x_X

Please guys...

Read carefully before bumping, I hate this attitude.

DWho posted you a link where anchors works perfectly and also told you to quote that post to see how it works... why you didn't try that?

Here is how to do it... please next time try to follow the instructions.

Code: [Hide] [Select]
[list=1][*][url=#first_chapter]First[/url]
[*][url=#second_chapter]Second[/url]
[*][url=#third_chapter]Third[/url]
[*][url=#fourth_chapter]Fourth[/url][/list]

[b][url name=first_chapter]First[/url][/b]

[b][url name=second_chapter]Second[/url][/b]

[b][url name=third_chapter]Third[/url][/b]

[b][url name=fourth_chapter]Fourth[/url][/b]

Click these links:
  1. First
  2. Second
  3. Third
  4. Fourth

Anchors:

First

Second

Third

Fourth

Thx MG for your reply.
About DWho's link, as I said I did not find what I shall have find that's why I asked more explanations. Moreover, I searched in his topic ( again ) and I didn't find your kind of anchor ... Maybe I'm blind or stupid ( or just tired ) and I'm sorry if my bump put you ill at ease.
Anyway, thanks for your answer.

Ps : you maybe should update this topic with that possible way to use url bbcode ^^'

Check the Table Of Content at the top of Chaotic post... if you click any link you will be redirected to anchors...
