Post subject: What Is, Permanentemente Letto?
EDIT: Sorry. I just looked on this site and it means Permanently Read. So, does anyone know which file I have to edit to change this? Thank you in advance.

OP.
Hello all
I'm using the latest IP with the Lightning theme (which I love) and noticed a ribbon of sorts with the words 'Permanentemente Letto' beside it. Does anyone know what this is or means? I'm guessing permanent (something) ban, maybe?

This looks very strange to me...

You are using english lang and have italian words as well?

Anyway, can you check lang_main.php

There should be something like this
Code: [Hide] [Select]
'No_new_posts_global_announcement' => 'No new [ Global Ann. ]',
'New_posts_global_announcement' => 'New [ Global Ann. ]',
'No_new_posts_announcement' => 'No new [ Announcement ]',
'New_posts_announcement' => 'New [ Announcement ]',
'No_new_posts_sticky' => 'No new [ Sticky ]',
'New_posts_sticky' => 'New [ Sticky ]',
'No_new_posts_locked' => 'No new [ Locked ]',
'New_posts_locked' => 'New [ Locked ]',
'No_new_posts' => 'No new posts',
'New_posts' => 'New posts',
'New_post' => 'New post',
'No_new_posts_hot' => 'No new [ Popular ]',
'New_posts_hot' => 'New [ Popular ]',

Do you have in this file something like "permanent" ?

Hi, thank you for the reply. There are no words concerning, permanent, in that file, except for the terms of use section; i.e. 'permanently banned'. I have been messing around with some mods, maybe there's a chance that some Italian words have slipped in? Other than that, the site uses English and nothing else. Additionally, I think it's just with the Lightning theme, but will double check to be sure.

Here is what I have in the lang_main.php: which looks the same as you posted.

Code: [Hide] [Select]
'No_new_posts_global_announcement' => 'No new [ Global Ann. ]',
'New_posts_global_announcement' => 'New [ Global Ann. ]',
'No_new_posts_announcement' => 'No new [ Announcement ]',
'New_posts_announcement' => 'New [ Announcement ]',
'No_new_posts_sticky' => 'No new [ Sticky ]',
'New_posts_sticky' => 'New [ Sticky ]',
'No_new_posts_locked' => 'No new [ Locked ]',
'New_posts_locked' => 'New [ Locked ]',
'No_new_posts' => 'No new posts',
'New_posts' => 'New posts',
'New_post' => 'New post',
'No_new_posts_hot' => 'No new [ Popular ]',
'New_posts_hot' => 'New [ Popular ]',

It is kind of odd, however.

Hello,
Thank you for the replies.

I obtained the Lightning theme from the discussion forum in English Chit Chat, specifically, This Post, which on page 2, Here (post #27).

I finally found the culprit and have no idea whatsoever how the file got there. In any case it was the 'lang_main_upi2db.php' in the 'language/lang_english' directory.

I kept a backup of this file (the non-English one) and attached it to this message.

Thanks, once again for the help. Greatly appreciated! SOLVED :up:
