Post subject: Google Webmaster Verification Code
Hi Again, this weeks question....

my site www.hdoz.org.au, running v1.3.0.53b on a black pearl template

I recently changed to the black pearl template from Aphrodite black and noted at the time that my Google verification code was not going to be in play anymore as it was in the header of the old template.

So my questions are...

1. did I put it in the wrong spot to start with and should put it in a common part of the program... and if so where is that?

2. If I'm just to put it back in the Black Pearl template header..where do I put it as the file makeup is entirely different from previous and I'm not seeing an obvious place?

once again any comments are greatfully welcomed.

think I've answered my own question, templates/default/overall_header.tpl seems to give me a common location of a header without using the actual template header. put the meta code here and verified straight away

I figured you already had it there ...now I wonder where you really had it added in the past.

There is also some meta stuff collected in language folders lang_main_settings.php ;)

Hi Joshua, I went too far and went into the actual template overall header, so when I changed templates it went out of play.

my mistake, thanks for looking into it for me

BTW shouldn't it be in overall_inc_header.tpl next to the other meta info?

EDIT: yes ...then you can remove what you added to the other template
