Guys,

After upgrading to PHP 5.5 and apache 2.2.4.7 i am face with a problem-- if i type the location of my website:-

www.scotbird.co.uk/scotforum/index.php -- i get a blank page ( both firefox and IE )

if i type in

http://www.scotbird.co.uk/scotforum/login_ip.php -- i get the login page ( Firefox only ) which when i login i am taken to

http://www.scotbird.co.uk/scotforum...97522e863c0fe54

which is a blank screen ( pure white no text ), This is on IP2.0 which i have just recently set up and as yet have not transfered my users onto. I can however say that IP1.53 is still running after the update ( i had to change a time zone setting but that was all ) on IP 2 its as if re-directs re not working correctly.

This only started after the upgrade.

I am a newbie when it comes to setting PHP setting, i used scripts to do the updating for me from 5.3 to 5.5.

Appreciate any support.

Can you install a fresh copy of Ver2* (Preferably from GIT - With NO added extras) to a new database and see what happens?

Thanks Mort, i have just found the fault thanks to the error log, log was saying -

Call-time pass-by-reference has been removed in /var/www/scotforum/includes/album_mod/album_functions.php on line 1035

on line 1031 and 1035 i changed the &$results variable to $results as advised on

Please mark this as solved, now for my other problem, but too late tonight going to bed, fresh head tomorrow.

It's also been discussed here before as there are actually more locations that need to be edited - Unless one downloads the Icy-ZIP from GIT-Hub.

Didnt specifically look at wordpress, i went to google and done a search.

I hadnt looked at the error report log until after i had posted the original message.

Anyway alls good.
