Post subject: Acitivity Games

Hello there,

as it's something I just got asked by somebody installing a forum (and using far too many features... Just look at what I've reported in the ip_plugins repo!), there are a few games included (7 or 8 maybe) but I was wondering if anybody still has some of those old games.
I know the activity mode supports flash, java-applet-style ones, and IPBArcade games.

@mort, maybe? As I know you were quite into that before.

Mmm! I'm not sure what you are asking of me, but if it's some games you want - you can download 36 of them here along with a "Demo" arcade.

As for java games, I've got one somewhere but I think most would loathe to have to install java on their pc's.

Or one can download pre-formatted games for phpBB here - But you have to be logged in there.

EDIT: Amazing! All these games seem to work! I need to find a way to download them all

EDIT2: alas, looks like the php needs *some* adaptation. I hope it's not the swf

You wouldn't want to download them 'ALL' from Origon, because believe me my friend I used to stay logged in there for hours while logged into the ACP at 'my' phpBB game site downloading them - and a heck of a lot of them were just "RUBBISH"!

If I may ask - What are you actually doing?

Because I had thought about grabbing the phpBB games MOD and phpBB3 and kicking it around to reduce the white space and maybe load the games where possible in two columns.

I might not know myself... People discovering IP and getting lost in the features
It's interesting to know if this mod is actually still usable hehe.
