Post subject: Question About Creating New Language Files
I'm wondering why u missed a important description in http://www.icyphoenix.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=76 , where the hell is located the CHARSET variable ?
Over 90% of the languages uses UTF-8, or everything else then ISO8859-1, like UTF-8, CP1251, 1252, KOI8-R and so on.

Thanks in advance.

Please remember that the post you have linked to is over 3 years old... I do not know anything about translations but if you are updating the newer version of Icy I expect it is different... maybe someone else can confirm this...

1.3 still uses ISO8859-1 by default, with no option to change it from the administration or else

Sorry for up, but all settings, it's in file: lang_main_settings.php

You could change "$lang['TRADUCTION']" (by exemple), charset & encodage !

@DWho > I confirm, All changes have to be done in lang_main_settings.php
