FAP CUSTOMIZATION - [Solved]Recent Pics Block On The Forum Index?

Hello again.  I want to begin this question with the understanding that I am a programming idiot or worse.  I can follow directions very well though.

I am now wondering if it is able to duplicate the "recent pics block" that is in the album_cat_body.tpl to the main forum index page.  I'd like the recent pics block to load just above the forum category list.

I have tried cutting and pasting the recent pics block html from the album_cat_body.tpl file to the index_body.tpl file.  That didn't work...
