Icy Phoenix

And I am happy to present you the Web 2.0 version of Icy Phoenix and MakingART

After a lot of work behind, I have converted the base to the site without tables and table-less, greatly easing the loading of pages, it is validated in accordance with the standards of the w3c, both HTML and CSS.

Until this point no news or special modification, but with the arrival in the new version of IP (from 1.3.x onwards) there will be lots of changes of interest to all lovers of the graphics and for those who want to try this fantastic world.

We show the main changes:

Buttons to respond, open up, thank the facts with just CSS.

Adopted a "css technique" that has lightened the whole, the use of very few pictures throughout the site. Well yes, that controlled the background of the blocks you will see that the image is one, but thanks to the power of CSS gives the same result as many as 3 / 6 files. Same for the backgrounds, the same image for the body, the top menu, navigation and backgrounds of threads, only one image for everything.

All the blocks that you see on the home NOT using tables, but the lists and div.
Until now I have converted the following pages:

I was using IE7 - That's the problem. :(

FF is also showing a problem on the home page.

With all respect, but the site follows the standards, the browser is outdated and can not do work for a browser that does not follow. I was able to optimize it for IE8, which follows the standard, but older versions do not put me there that much, you use Firefox or Opera, or Chrome.

I do not understand the problem of firefox, I see everything normal resolutions: 800, 1024 and 1280.

Again, I see it the same with Opera, Chrome, Firefox and IE8. Using all updated versions of the browser on Windows XP SP3.

You're right, I just upgraded to the latest FF and IE8 on my other PC - XP SP3 and my laptop Vista Home Premium and it looks fine on both of them.

Next time I'll check with either of those. ;)

And though it may upset your footer dislpay - It's a requirement that Powered by Icy Phoenix based on phpBB be fully included and not just Icy Phoenix and phpBB - Particularly if you want any support from Icy Phoenix.
