It depens on what kind of people you want to focus on. I will give it a look when you post the URL if it is written english or spanish. I do not understand other languages as well as I want.

First: Change the text at the portal.
Second: Submit it to the crawlers.
Third: Create categories.
Forth: Give a review on the programs you offer to users befors they download it, via the forum.

What are you specialized on?

From my experience I can say that you should create something very specific to attract interest of other users... but again it depends on many factors... If you have enough money you can advertise your site everywhere and having thousands of access per day.

Mostly GFX and Warez... But I want this to be a LEGAL site.. Im fed up of all the underground garbage.. So ill stick to freeware
