FAP CUSTOMIZATION - Remove SubCategories

Subject: FAP CUSTOMIZATION - Remove SubCategories
Hi. I would definitly like for my users to be able to have catagories within their album, but I don't want them to be able to have categories inside of other categories. I think it will be too confusing for my users. ANy ideas on hwo to remove subcategories?

Thanks

A user personal gallery IS a category, so any category created within it is a sub-cat

Probably would not be a easy task to disable sub-subcategories from the personal galleries.

You do have the option in the ACP to disallow all sub-cat creation from the personal galleries.

I just want my users to have a sub-category for the master category. Not another sub-sub category for the subcategory.

Any ideas?!

I understand exactly what you are asking, but it would not be so easy to accomplish.

If you just wanted each personal gallery to have only one subcat, then there is a mod here that will automatically create 1 sub cat when a user creates their personal gallery. Using this mod you should be able to set your ACP to disallow user subcat creation in PG... other than this I can't offer much help to you.
