Hello,

I've just installed FAP1.4.0 onto 2 of my boards (both running PHPBB2.0.22 + CH2.1.6d) and both having the older versions of FAP 1.2.3 (or whatever) installed at somepoint.

anyway, my issue is that thumbnails aren't working at all anymore :( - small and mid ones are broken, either showing black boxes or red X's. Full view still works.
These are all pictures that were already in the system. although thumbnails for new uploads are broken too.

I've gone to the ACP and enabled the "Use Old thumbnails method option" but this has little effect.

i dont think its even generating the thumbnails, or its generating them as images just coloured "black" ?

any ideas why?

The same happened for me on my local testing server after FAP 1.2.3 ..... but works fine on the remote server.

Here are some things you might try....if you haven't already.

• Change the setting for Quick Thumbnails
  
• Change GD version setting
  
• Change small & mid thumbnail cache setting
  
  
• Clear thumbnail cache after each

Remove the .htaccess files from album_mod/upload and it's subfolders
