yes, i have disabled it too, because of this. i tried turning thumbnail cache off & clearing the thumbnail cache, but still no luck.

i am for some reason unable to view mid thumbnails now, i can only get a 1/3 of the image to load on my board, running phpbb 2.0.22

can someone assist?

Do you have a link please?

Can you try to reduce the mid-thumb size?

PM'd you the info

tried reducing thumb size and it only produces a full image on first page load when it reaches the size of a regular thumbnail

I wonder if including the pic's width and height in the img tag would force it to fully load. :?:

Just thinking out loud :10k_0015:

I have the same problem. Photos only load 1/4 way. Then on refresh they fully load.

For all: What is your thumbnail quality set to. Mine was set at 75 and I've not had the problems you mention, but when I set it to 100 the problems appeared.

I also got the idea that adding a Content-length header to the script might help, but I didn't have much luck ....which doesn't surprise me as I didn't really know what in the hell I was doing anyway

set to 100, as i don't want any image degradation at all

just noticed it seems to be the same problem posted about here: Several Issues with FAP

Not for the moment I do not think.
If you need a temporary fix you can lower the thumbnail quality to about 75-80%.

I only tested very little, but from what I've seen it appears to do the trick

What say everyone else ?

Thanks Artie... let's see if even other users will solve their problems...

My problem with the mid thumbnail is that it just shows a block box. It doesn't seem to matter what image quality I set. Will your file work for this problem too?
