Post FAP CUSTOMIZATION - Image Sizing

hi
i would like some input on image sizing, i would like to keep the upload size at a reasonable size
so it would be less a problem for uploading for most members with having to resize there pics first
i  like photo size in post 640x480
i dont want to use thumbnails in posts
what sizing do you use or think is the best allrounder for gallery upload and forum upload for whole site
our main service of our forum is hosting photo's
cheers
bloke

Post Re: Image Sizing

It depends on the template you are using and on the userbase of your site.

If you have a fixed width template, usually 480px wide is the limit (to avoid topics or news stretching)... if you don't, then it depends mostly of how much do you care of page layout. Personally I wouldn't ever go over 640px wide.
