I have run into a problem recently and I had wondered if anyone her had any thoughts on this....
I am running Photo Album Powered by: Photo Album 2.0.54 Smartor - CLowN SP1 Addon 1.5.1 - IdleVoid's Album CH 1.3.0 - Mighty Gorgon Full Album Pack 1.2.4.
All this in the 2.0.2.1 version phpBB XS with MySQL 4.0.26.
The problem I had is that the Host had a server issue in which my WebFiles had to be migrated to another server, but the MySQL DB were never touched. When they performed the migration for some reson they decided to leave out the very directory that contained all the Forum WebFiles. When all was said and done and I had replaced the webfiles, all of the images in the Photo Album were gone even after restoring the DB through MySQL. Now my question is....
Where are the images stored once a member has uploaded them to the Album. Are they in the WebFiles or are they in the DB. And for either answer where exactly are they. Can they be restored from the DB Backups or would they be gone completely in this case.
I have since had to manually recreate the whole forum, and have had to delete all the missing links showing in the Album, and rebuild from scratch. But in case this happens again, I would like to avoid this amount of work and aggrevation in the future, if at all possible.
Any suggestions or comments are welcome.

The DB contains the filename of each image ... the images are stored in PHPBB_ROOT/album_mod/upload
