Icy Phoenix

Hi Everyone

I tried doing some searches and didn't see anything that answered my question so here it goes.

In FAP is there a way to upload video files too? I know we can upload jpg, gif, png etc... can we also add more extensions like mov, avi, mpg?

I think there is no way for videos at this time :cry:

And I guess it's not planned in near future.

But maybe you will find a mod for this then I'm sure someone will be able to help you. :mricy:

At the moment I won't do it... but I give you a hint...

• Install Icy Phoenix
  
• Create a snapshot of the video you would like to upload
  
• Upload the snapshot in the album as a picture
  
• Comment that picture inserting the Video as BBCode (in Icy Phoenix you can add videos through BBCodes!)
  
• You have uploaded Videos in FAP! :icy_lol_flag:

i´m searching for a while for a FAP clone but, where i can upload, view, rate and comment videos...

dont found anything yet...

does anyone have something like this? or does anyone know a standard phpBB2 MOD with downloadlink? so i can start to port this to icy?

any help would be cool...

P.S.: but it would be cooler, if FAP will support FLV files ;-)

adding - if you don't have IP version and you have standard phpbb2 + FAB, then you have to have video bbcodes include in FAP.

Me to this feature would be great the only mod that comes close is the music online mod...but I believe it is coded very badly...

Well, take a look at this thread. Once, i found out music online mod copy FAP code, then i use FAP from that on.

ok i found one old phpBBXS MOD -> http://www.icyphoenix.com/viewtopic...&p=23668#p23668 and i start porting this, and the newest version of the media center mod for standard phpBB2, to the latest IP version...

give me some time... and if i need any help i ask here on this site ;-)
