I would think that is possible.... I shall look see.

Do you prefer pic description or pic title ? (not all pics have description)

EDIT: On second thought, it may not be as simple as it seems, but I will look anyway

Thank you in advance for your efforts...

I am sorry Helmut71, but I had no luck getting this done.
Maybe someone will find this useful and figure it out for us.

It is not so easy... an extra SQL should be added when the BBCode is parsed...

I think it isn't worth to be implemented...

hello MG: perhaps you could post the extra SQL here? Please...if it is not too difficult...

For me it is worth to be implemented...
I use many thumbs from the album in the forum..and if the mouseove shows the correct picture information, my visitors know what is on the picture before they click on it...and I don't have to write a thumbnail description beneath the thumbnail, it all would be in the picture...

So if it doens't make too much work for you, please post the extra sql here

tia

The SQL part it is easy... what is difficult is to integrate it through BBCodes...

Code: [Download] [Hide]
  1. $sql = "SELECT p.*, c.*
  2.         FROM ". ALBUM_TABLE ." AS p, ". ALBUM_CAT_TABLE ." AS c
  3.         WHERE p.pic_id = '$pic_id'
  4.             AND c.cat_id = p.pic_cat_id";
  5.
  6. if( !($result = $db->sql_query($sql)) )
  7. {
  8.     message_die(GENERAL_ERROR, 'Could not query pic information', '', __LINE__, __FILE__, $sql);
  9. }
  10.
  11. $thispic = $db->sql_fetchrow($result);
  12.
  13. $cat_id = $thispic['pic_cat_id'];
  14. $album_user_id = $thispic['cat_user_id'];
  15. $pic_filename = $thispic['pic_filename'];
  16. $pic_title = $thispic['pic_title'];

Once you have the pic_id and these vars you may easily add them into the BBCode generated code...

If you have Icy Phoenix I can try to show you an easy way to integrate it into BBCodes.
